Singapore enjoys a high standing among foreigners. Professor Martyn Partridge is a Brit who has been based here for 2 years, helping to set up the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at NTU. In a recent interview by The Guardian (a UK newspaper), he described Singapore as a “wonderful place to work, with excited, interested and well-trained colleagues”.
